Underrated or just under the radar?

About 5 years ago, Thierry at Cyclesports inroduced me to PMP cycling components...actually, just the cranks. It was love at first site. After a brief courtship, we were married and have been happy ever since. So happy in fact that I jumped through some serious hula to score another pair, as they have become a rare bird these days. PMP is basically a high end machine shop. From the looks of things, they make lots of nice stuff, but I'm only familiar w/ the cranks. They are forged, then machined, then polished. Complete set w/Ti BB in 175's is only 750g of square tapered goodness. That's on par or better than most high-end carbon cranks. They are my favorite cross cranks by far. Smack 'em on a rock? no worries. All the hardware is also Ti. They originally came w/ TA rings but now make there own. They need to find a better US distributor than Red Rose cause they sure dont' push it out on the west coast. Milano Sport will special order but that's it. Mangi bene!

It's been 5 years on the bb and it's still super smooth. Whatever you do, DON'T LOSE THE TOOL! That proprietary thing is realy it's only down side.
